Jim Rather is privileged to serve as a Board Member of the National Alliance on Mental Illness St. Tammany (NAMI). We are reaching out to ask you to join us in supporting an important cause. Our team is participating in the 2017 NAMI Walks St. Tammany event and we would like to invite you to support us. This is the first time NAMI Walks will be held on the Northshore. The walk will be held on the scenic Mandeville Lakefront on Saturday, May 13, 2017 with the Treme Brass Band leading the way.
When you walk with NAMI, you join the movement to raise awareness of mental illness and raise funds for our mission to help individuals and families right here in our region.
NAMI Walks is the largest and most successful mental health fundraising and awareness event in America. Through NAMI Walks’ public, active display of support for people affected by mental illness, we are changing how Americans view individuals with a mental illness and ensuring that help and hope are available for those in need.
Please join us as a walker or go to Jim Rather’s page by clicking below to make a donation supporting our fundraising efforts.
Thank you in advance for your support.
